Landmannalaugar, Iceland.
The Landmannalaugar area is a popular tourist destination and hiking hub in Iceland’s highlands.
The area displays a number of unusual geological elements, like the multicolored rhyolite mountains and expansive lava fields, not far from the service center.

Near the middle point of its length, at the foreland point or ‘Ness’, lies the Orfordness lighthouse.

Santa Monica Pier, California, USA.
The pier contains Pacific Park, a family amusement park with a large Ferris wheel. It also has a carousel from the 1920s, an aquarium, shops, entertainers, an arcade, a trapeze school, a pub, and restaurants. The end of the pier is a popular location for anglers.

Elephant Island, Antarctica.
This is the rocky outcrop where Shackleton’s men waited for a few months to be rescued. It is a desolate, depressing place.
Notice how tiny the boats at the foreground of the picture are and imagine how huge this place is.

Osorno Volcano, Chile.
It has a somewhat similar appearance to Japan’s Mount Fuji, so don’t get mistaken. Osorno is one of the most active volcanoes of the southern Chilean Andes, with 11 historical eruptions recorded between 1575 and 1869.
